Methodology

Every system we operate is documented using the same fields, in the same order, with the same disclosures.

Standardized fields

  • System name and the market or markets traded.
  • Trading style and suggested capital.
  • Applicable system and platform costs.
  • Track-record start date and data-update timestamp.
  • Drawdown from prior peak, monthly results, and the worst historical month.

Actual versus hypothetical results

Each profile states whether the results shown are actual trading results or hypothetical or simulated results. Hypothetical results have inherent limitations: unlike an actual performance record, they do not represent actual trading, and because trades were not executed, results may under- or over-compensate for the impact of certain market factors such as lack of liquidity.

No rankings or recommendations

ELSE Markets does not label systems as best performers and does not recommend any particular system. Documentation exists so you can evaluate the characteristics of an approach yourself.

Data availability

System data and availability are subject to change; a system may be modified, paused, or discontinued at any time. Performance information must be reviewed together with all applicable disclosures. Futures trading involves substantial risk of loss and past performance does not guarantee future results.
